Privacy
Uni4Ever is a private space for two people. We store only what the app needs to work, we don’t sell or share it, and you can delete all of it whenever you want.

What we store
Your profile, messages, photos, voice notes, Heart Talk answers, pet progress, drawings, memories, special days, and mood check-ins are stored on Uni4Ever’s server so both members of your space can see them. Only the two authenticated members of a space can request its content. Heart Talk answers stay private until both people have answered.
We also store your email address, a hashed password, a hashed recovery code, and — if you allow notifications — an Apple push token for your device.
What you choose to share
Location, location history (trails), battery level, and online presence are off by default. When you turn location sharing on, your position is updated in the background so your partner can see your distance and local weather. Pausing sharing stops updates and erases your stored trail. Trails are kept for 30 days at most.
Weather uses your shared location and is provided by Apple Weather (WeatherKit). Only coordinates are sent, never your name or account. Weather data sources and legal attribution.
Notifications
When your partner does something in the app — a message, a heart, a mood, a memory, caring for Pip — our server sends a notification to your device through Apple Push Notification service. Each type of notification has its own switch under You → Notifications.
Purchases
Coin packs are sold through Apple’s In‑App Purchase system. Apple handles payment; we never see your card details. We store the transaction identifier so a purchase is credited exactly once.
Retention and security
Connections use HTTPS. Content is not end‑to‑end encrypted, so the server operator can technically access stored data; we don’t read it. Messages, memories, and dates keep the most recent 500 entries in each category, mood history the last 90 days, and location trails 30 days. Pairing with someone new, disconnecting, or deleting an account clears the previous shared space.
No ads, no tracking
Uni4Ever contains no advertising, no analytics trackers, and no third‑party SDKs. We do not sell or share your data with anyone, and we don’t use it for anything other than running the app.
Your choices
- Export: You → Your data → Export our data gives you a copy of your shared space.
- Delete: You → Your data → Delete my account removes your account and erases the shared space for both people. It cannot be undone.
- Pause sharing: the Near tab lets you pause location, trails, and battery at any time.
Children
Uni4Ever is intended for adults in a relationship and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
