NEXA is a personal media server and player. Point it at the movies, TV shows, music and audiobooks you already own, and watch them on your iPhone, Fire TV, Android device or any browser — at home or away.

It plays files that you place on a computer you control, exactly like a personal media server is meant to. You are responsible for making sure you own or have the right to play anything you add to your library.
How it works
1. Run the server
Install NEXA Server on a Windows PC, Linux box or NAS at home and point it at the folders that hold your media. It scans your files and fetches artwork and descriptions from public metadata sources.
2. Open the app
Sign in to your own server from the NEXA app. Nothing is uploaded anywhere — the app talks directly to the computer where your files live.
3. Play anywhere
Direct Play when your device supports the file, or let the server transcode on the fly so anything in your collection plays smoothly on any screen.

Acceptable use
NEXA is built for personal, non-commercial use with content you own or are licensed to use — home videos, ripped copies of discs you purchased where your local law permits, purchased downloads, DRM-free music and audiobooks, podcasts, and live-TV subscriptions you pay for. Using NEXA to distribute copyrighted works you do not have rights to, or to make a library available to the public, is prohibited by the Terms of Use.
